IWA National Festival Kicks Off - 28-30th August

Thursday we're building, Friday we're stocking and Saturday the fun begins! It's an Inland Waterways show featuring a variety of boats and lots of events for people to enjoy.

Whilst the Sheridan Marine stand (Stand L8) will have boating equipment from the likes of Jabsco Pumps & Spares, Hempel (Blakes) Paint, Marlow Ropes and general inland waterways chandlery; the Freeman Cruiser shop will be open Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holiday Monday from 10am to 5pm.

As there are only five of us we will be split between the two sites so come and pay us a visit at th Freeman Shop (OX10 9HU) and at the IWA Festival (Beale Park, Pangbourne, RG8 9NH).

Freeman Get Together

We are hoping for a small Freeman Get Together at the IWA Festival at Beale Park, Pangbourne on Sunday 29th. The gathering will start just after the trade show closes - in the bar - and before the evening boat light parade.

Evening wrist bands will be required which are available from the organisers or the Sheridan Stand (L8).

IWA Festival Mooring Cancellation

Unfortunately only a few Freemans have booked in for the weekend even though we have a prime position on the lake. One of the boats booked has had to cancel so there is a last minute vaccany for anyone who can make it at short notice. If you are interested please phoone us on 01491 652085.

We have a small selection of moorings allocated to the Freeman Club right on the central lake at Beale Park on the River Thames - the ideal spot for enjoying the 3 day weekend (28th-30th August 2010) with your family and friends - but you do need to book now as these slots will be taken quickly.

Boat mooring is £30 for the weekend, adult weekend entry tickets are £15 and children under 16 are free. The price includes the entry fee and most of the entertainment. You can even take part in some of the events if you wish too; such as the illuminated fly-past on Sunday night.

Email or phone us (01491 652085) for a booking form, you can also download the booking form directly from the IWA website. On the form mark it very clearly at the top "Freeman Cruisers Club" so that they group us together on the lake.

The Freeman Online Shop is dramitcally expanding with easier searching, purchasing, payments and cheaper postage & packing.

The Freeman Online Shop has joined the Sheridan Marine website to offer you much more choice. Specialist Freeman spares with everyday boating parts too. We are working towards having the contents of the Freeman Projects & Solutions book online for you to browse & buy.

All the items from the old shop can be found there plus lots of new ones which we are adding to daily. It will build up to be an extensive online boating shop with a Freeman speciality.
